Fresh Fig & Goat Cheese Salad with Honey Dressing

Ingredients


  • 6–8 fresh figs, halved

  • 100 g goat cheese (or feta, if preferred)

  • A handful of arugula (rocket)

  • 2 tbsp walnuts, lightly toasted

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Wash and gently dry the arugula, then place it in a serving bowl.

  2. Arrange the fresh figs on top.

  3. Crumble the goat cheese over the salad.

  4. Add the toasted walnuts for extra texture.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, and balsamic vinegar.

  6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.

  7. Finish with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.


Serve immediately with a slice of crusty bread. This salad works beautifully as a light lunch or an elegant starter.
